TT Foundation Advisors is a Singapore-based registered charity under the Commissioner of Charities. Our Board provides strategic oversight and guidance to our management team. They set our vision and mandate, and ensure that our philanthropic assets are managed effectively and in alignment with our mission.

TT Foundation Advisors is wholly owned by Temasek Trust Limited.

Desmond Kuek is Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Temasek Trust Limited, the philanthropic arm of Temasek Holdings.

Prior to this, he has held pinnacle leadership roles across sectors: as Divisional Vice Chairman (Global Wealth Management) at UBS and Global Head of its Sustainable Finance Group (2019-2022); President & Group CEO of SMRT Corporation (2012-2018); Permanent Secretary in the Singapore Ministry of Environment & Water Resources (2010-2012); and Chief of Defence Force (2007-2010), Chief of Army (2003-2007) and Director of Joint Intelligence (2000-2003) in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Through the years, he also served on the boards of Housing & Development Board, International Enterprise Singapore, Jurong Town Corporation, Defence Science & Technology Agency, Civil Service College, Singapore Technologies Engineering and its subsidiaries. He held senior advisory roles in SAP (Asia Pacific & Japan), Toyota Tsusho (Asia Pacific), Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities, Nanyang Technological University’s College of Engineering, and Singapore Centre for Green Finance. He was Founder & Chairman of Genium & Co, a leadership and organisational development consultancy in Singapore.

Mr Tan Soo Nan is presently the Executive and Non-Independent Director of Raffles Medical Group & Raffles Health Insurance Pte Ltd. He also serves on the Boards of other private companies and as a member of Public Transport Council.

Mr Tan is active in social causes and serves as a Director in Temasek Foundation Limited, TF IPC Ltd and Woh Hup Trust, as well as the Chairman of the Board of The Photographic Society of Singapore, a not-for-profit organisation.

Mr Ng Nam Sin was most recently CEO of the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF). He retired from the role in December 2023.

Prior to IBF, Nam Sin held various key positions at MAS, including Assistant Managing Director for financial sector Development and then Human Resource and Information Technology. He was a member of the MAS Executive Committee.

Nam Sin started his career at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), where he was part of the pioneer team developing the services sector. He later served as Regional Director in New York, attracting significant investments from the United States. His early career also includes engineering roles at Indeco Engineers in Beijing.

Nam Sin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Glasgow and attended the Stanford University Executive Program. His contributions have been recognized with the National Day Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2008.

Our collective knowledge spans decades, encompassing a deep understanding of regional philanthropic landscapes, legal frameworks, and cultural nuances. Dickson joined Temasek Trust in March 2024 to establish Temasek Trust Foundation Advisors as its philanthropy advisory arm. He is a seasoned Senior Philanthropy Advisor, known for guiding prominent philanthropists across Asia in developing impactful strategies and legacies.

With extensive experience in healthcare, education, environmental and social services nonprofits, Dickson focuses on systemic solutions and innovative success. He mentors future philanthropists, helping them invest in sustainable programs for maximum impact. As a charity governance practitioner, he serves on Singapore's Charity Governance Awards panel and mentors fundraisers across Asia. Dickson previously spent a decade in engineering, managing strategic investments in semiconductor manufacturing.

Joyce Teo

Formerly with Asia Community Foundation, Joyce now serves as Senior Philanthropy Advisor at Temasek Trust Foundation Advisors. With over 20 years in philanthropy and grant advisory, Joyce helped establish the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) in 2008, creating Singapore’s first donor-advised fund organisation and growing it to over 150 funds.

She launched the Centre for Applied Philanthropy at CFS and led initiatives like the Sayang Sayang Fund and the FUN Fund. Joyce also contributed to the Salesforce.com Foundation’s programs in Asia-Pacific and developed community engagement initiatives at the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre. A National University of Singapore graduate in Southeast Asian Studies and English Literature, Joyce combines science and art in philanthropy to achieve meaningful social impact.

Charmiane joined Temasek Trust in November 2024, bringing over 18 years of experience in the high-net-worth space, primarily focusing on trusts and estate planning. In her previous role as a Wealth Planner, Charmiane engaged clients in deeply intimate discussions about their wealth and succession planning concerns, which often keep clients awake at night. These conversations often led to meaningful discussions about clients’ philanthropic aspirations and their desire to leave a legacy for future generations, both of which are cornerstones of a comprehensive wealth succession plan.

In her role as Senior Foundation Advisor, Charmiane is eager to partner with clients and their next generation on their philanthropic journeys, whilst continuing to apply the same thoughtful, holistic planning approach, to achieve even more catalytic and impactful outcomes.

Bernice Ho

With over 12 years of experience in sectors such as retail, finance, and charitable organisations, Bernice is a seasoned finance professional focused on financial and regulatory reporting, process improvement and digital transformation.

At her previous organisation, she led a major overhaul of finance structures, driving automation and establishing new policies. Her efforts not only streamlined operational processes but also strengthened governance and accountability as well as ensuring strict compliance to regulatory reporting requirements.

Beyond her career, Bernice is committed to community service, mentoring teenage youths in personal development. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Singapore Management University and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
